Paper and cardboard are the most hygroscopic products. In order to preserve consumer properties of cardboard packaging and instructions, it is necessary to maintain and control the temperature and humidity conditions during storage. It is very important to carry out acclimatization before use in production.

    Recommended storage conditions for printed products:
  • relative air humidity should be 40-60%;
  • air temperature is 20 ± 30 C.

Acclimatization is carried out for undamaged products with intact packaging by keeping them for a certain time in a room with a temperature close to the packing area.

Requirements for transport packaging

The productivity of the packaging line is being reduced due to the “invisible” deviations of temperature and humidity during storage of cardboard packaging and instructions in warehouses. As a result, the defects appear, such as sticking of sheets of instructions, waviness of edges, deformation of packs with paper instructions, change of geometrical sizes and electrification of cardboard and paper. Wrapping in a film

This method is used for sheet instructions up to 370 x 600 mm in size as follows:

- In packs of 250-8000 pcs. (in accordance with the requirements of the client);

- Top and bottom packs are laid clean, unsealed cardboard with a thickness of at least 0.35 mm;

- In accordance with the requirements of the client packs can additionally be wrapped with a strep tape.

Benefits of packaging:

  • Preservation of the flat foot when laying instructions in the receiving bin of the folding module;
  • Preservation of optimum relative humidity instructions;
  • Preservation of consumer properties of instructions for the operation of the folding module GUK at the passport speeds;
  • Reducing the time to release instructions from packaging;
  • Reduced waste compared to waste during the paper packaging.

Wrapping in a heat-shrink film with a strep tape.

It is used for instructions with preliminary folding with 1 or 2 folds:

- Package are wrapped around the product with a strep-tape, on both sides at a distance of at least 1 cm from the edge of the pack, laid on top and bottom with binding cardboard with a thickness of 1.2 mm ± 0.2 mm. The number of instructions in a pack is 250 pieces;

- Instructions are sealed in shrink film, with a minimum thickness of 19 microns;

- Folded instructions are packed in a corrugated box. Or in packs of 150-200 pcs. with white unprinted cardboard liners;

- Instructions larger than 370 x 600 are packed in kraft paper;

- Folded instructions are placed on a pallet, the height of which should not exceed 1.6m. For additional fixation of the pallet is packaged in a stretch film and can be strengthened with corners.

Benefits of packaging:

Packing in special trays of corrugated cardboard

    Benefits of packaging:

    - Exclusion of spilling and jams of instructions is achieved by tight packing in a specially selected tray;

    - Convenience of laying in the GUK bunker in the course of packing of medicine.

 The boxes with instructions are placed on the pallet, the formed pallet is wrapped with a stretch film with the subsequent labeling of a group marking sheet. If necessary, for additional fixation, or in accordance with the requirements of the customer, special locking corners, sling bands and / or pallet covers can be used for packing pallets.

1 step. Packs of cardboard are packed in specially selected corrugated boxes with the obligatory observance of the following requirements:

Filling the corrugated box with products must be at least 85%;

Products must be shifted by white gaskets between the rows, on top and bottom of the corrugated box of unsealed cardboard;

All voids must be filled with white gaskets.

2 step. Corrugated boxes with products stacked on a pallet in compliance with regulatory height. An individual marking sheet is glued to each box, a group label is applied to the pallet. The bottom and top of the pallet are additionally protected with a film. Pallet wrapped with stretch film.
