Printing Technologies

JSC "PROMIS" is constantly improving printing technologies following the market needs and offers many types of finishing of cardboard packaging.

We do printing with conventional and UV inks in six colors in one run. UV technology allows printing on non-absorbent materials (metalized cardboard). Printed products can be transferred to post-printing processing immediately after printing. Printing can also be done with selective water-based, UV, or pigmented varnish.

  • Drip-off (twin-) varnishing technology

The technology allows you to obtain a specific decorative effect based on the contrast of matte and glossy surfaces. The image texture is noticeably more complex. The print also has individual tactile qualities. In addition, varnishing is also a way to increase the wear resistance of a product.

  • Braille

We use it to create a three-dimensional image of individual elements by using a stamp. Having Braille on a package is very important for visually impaired people (by touch) because this way they can read the name of the medicine.

  • Foil stamping

A design element that is designed to obtain a shiny mirror image on a print. It is made by overlapping foil using a stamp.

  • Relief stamping and foil

The creation of a 3-D metallic transfer of the image is made by using a relief stamp.

  • Embossing

We use it to create an embossed multi-level image on an imprint of individual design elements. It is made by using a relief stamp.

  • Pressing of a holographic label

It is of the most effective ways to protect against counterfeiting. It is made by overlaying a hologram.

  • Selective water-based varnishing

Selective water-based varnishing means the application of a glossy or matt water dispersion varnish (water-based varnish) to the surface of the printed material. Depending on the coverage area, there are continuous and selective high-pressure varnishing. With continuous, the varnish is applied to the entire product surface =and with selective - only on certain areas. Water-based varnishing protects the paint layer of the product from mechanical and other types of damage, adverse temperature effects, moisture, dust, dirt, etc. In addition, it prevents prints from being set off, increases the durability of the finished product, improves its visual perception, and preserves the appearance.

  • Selective UV varnishing

It means filling with varnish of individual elements of the image or part of the entire surface of the product. UV varnish is a special type of varnish that’s finished using an ultraviolet drying machine. UV varnishing can be either continuous or selective.
